Broken Images in Handouts

Images in handouts and character sheets of at least two (I haven't checked others yet) of my campaigns are breaking randomly. This has so far only applied to entries using images from the search feature, though even some handouts that are literally brand new (making it shows a broken image before I save) have been affected. I have tried reloading, replacing missing images with the same/different images, and clearing my cache. My specs: Operating System Microsoft Windows XP Screen Resolution 1600 x 1200 Web Browser Chrome 26.0.1410.64 Browser Size 1600 x 1085 Color Depth 32 bit Javascript Enabled Flash Version 11.7.700 Cookies Enabled

Are the images coming from your library or from a website?  - Gauss

They are coming from a website, but while some seem to legitimately no longer be hosted (though at that point I am curious as to why they are still showing up in searches), the instance in which I am making a new handout with an some images does not fulfill this criterion. It's also worth noting that, in a lot of cases, when I -do- drop an image from another website into a handout, Roll20 selects the preview image from the search and not the full size image from the 3rd party site. Hope that helps!

I suggest uploading the image directly to Roll20 instead. Sometimes there are issues (you described a couple) when taking an image from a website. These issues are external to Roll20. Regarding images that are no longer hosted, search engines store everything. It is why an image stored on the web and then deleted is never actually deleted. A search engine probably has it indexed and stored. - Gauss

Thanks for the help, Gauss. I'll try to upload things in the future as long as I have storage space.
