[Bug] When holding E to rotate a group of tokens, they spiral outward from the point of rotation and are eventually lost off the map.

This is probably something that won't show up in most games, but if you select a group of tokens and then hold 'E' to rotate it, you can spin it around a few times and end up spinning it completely off the map. It only happens in the constrained rotation, holding alt-E will not cause it to do this. I can actually think of a few things you could do with this, if you were playing a really weird game about planetary physics... =D Anyway, figured someone should know. =D

Thanks for pointing it out. I'll put it on the list. But you're right I don't see this one popping up in too many people's games!

Hey Aaron, how many tokens and what browser? I just tried it on a board of mine and while they spun around, I didn't get them to spin off the map or actually anywhere other than where they were at?

3 tokens. You have to spin some what vigorously. Also, they can't be in a line.

Oh, Chrome latest, on Mac OS X Mavericks. Here's the orientation I have them in. It might have something to do with changing orientation after it has started recalculating the bounding box, but I think it is more likely to be some sort of rounding error on calculating the position.

Well the other mods and devs have been able to replicate it so it is confirmed that way. I tried it for almost 5 mins of spinning and got nothing but a tired finger. I run a pc with win7 and the chrome browser. I had 5 planets which I tried the drag and select then hold e while spinning with my trackball wheel. I also tried it after select and grouping them all but didn't get your bug. I wanted to get your bug just so I could see my planets spin off into space but did not happen. I'm sad now. :(

Maybe it only works with 3 planets? =D You know, the first script I started writing was an orrery that would rotate planets around a sun in various orbits at various rates as you advanced time. I was going to add moons, dynamic lighting (eclipses baby!), and signs of the zodiac that would be reported for various dates. Never got around to it though.. I should work on that again some time...
