Different Look from roll20 to Google Hangout

Hello All, I am working on my first Campaign in roll20.   I created a Cover Page, sorta of just a welcome page for players as they arrive.   Mainly it was the front cover from the Adventure.   I created this and sized the window in Roll20 to match the exact size (ie. No Borders) of the image.   I then go out and launch my Campaign in Google Hangout and now I see background and the image is not the same size as what I had created in Roll20.    In Google Hangout, I also have to scroll around to see the whole image, but then I consider this okay since it appears to limit the real estate on the screen a bit (with video images and such)   I am okay with this, for those with bigger monitors will be able to see the entire image.   In the end, just try how to figure out how to make what I create in roll20 match that in Google Hangout.   TIA Erik

I'm not sure if you played with the zoom, but it's important to keep in mind that when you or your players load a Page, it will set the zoom back to 100% and will scroll the view space to the upper left corner of the screen.
The option to set a launch location and zoom size would be awesome.
This is actually not a Zoom Issue on the screen.   In my example, I have a background image for the page, and I size the page in page options to 15 x 20 units.   I also put a default background color on the page, but this is not seen as the image in Roll20 covers the entire page.    I then open in Google Hangout and now the background color shows, almost like the page size has changed to 18 x 25.
Erik, you also need to keep in mind that people are going to have different size monitors with different resolutions... so what you see is definitely not always going to be what your players see.
Erik can you share screenshots of the two views either here or via PM to me?
It is not a screen resolution or size issue.  I can understand that.     Here are two pictures.   The first is from my campaign in roll20 YOu can see from the pictures, that I have the window sized to the exact size of the image...no background.  I do have a background color of green just in case there is a little that i missed.    Now on Google Hangout it appears as So now the palette size has changed, and it shows the background of green.        Does that make sense?
ok, I see what you are describing. Not sure why it is happening. I'll see if any of the devs know what is up
This is a known bug where sometimes if the size of your window is the same size as the page, it will show extra content on the page that isn't really "there". If while you're in Roll20, you slowly resize your window to be smaller, eventually you will see the same thing happen. It's happening in G+ because the extra space that the G+ stuff takes up is making your available screen size smaller.
Just for clarification....what do you mean by window and by Page?    SO is there a default Page Size (Page in terms of sizing in roll20) that I can set that will prevent the above from occurring?

Erik, to clarify:  If you have a Page Size that is set to 25x25 there will be a Roll20 zoom level (somewhere from 10-150%) that will make that Page Size appear larger than it actually is (it gains 'extra' squares). This is a known bug. The zoom level required will depend on the size of the Page, your zoom level, and your screen size.  So what is happening in the transition from Roll20 native to Google+:  1) The available screen size is different because of the extra stuff in Google+. This will make things look different.  2) At the available screen size that particular Page Size has the above mentioned bug at 100%.  Solution: change the zoom level slightly to remove the extra grid squares.  I hope this explains it. Unfortunately, presenting an image so that your players will always be able to see it perfectly expanded to the limits of their browser window is simply not possible. Different people will have different screen sizes and resolutions. They will have to change the zoom level on their end in order to see it the way you wish them to. - Gauss
Thanks.   I did some testing, and saw exactly what you said.   It appears, at least for the image above, 100% zoom level is the spot in which it gains extra squares in Google Hangout.    Since this is a known bug, I will wait until it is addressed.  So far I have been impressed, and will be providing my support today.   Still not sure how best to design a page.   I can understand that difference in browsers, screen size, etc.   It would seem that I could design for a given zoom level (say 100%) and have all palyers set it the same way.   Some may have to scroll around the screen to see the entire pictures, others may see it all with a larger screen.   Either way, thanks for the clarification.
