I can't seem to find any way to drag an at asset in roll20 onto a handout. It seems like you should be able to browse your online art assets from the handout directory function, but it will only look on your local drive.
Figured it out. You have to 'search' for your item in the tab, you can't just drag it from the window that opens up showing you all your art assets. Once you've searched and found it in the tab you can free drag it onto the journal screen.
