Ordering Attributes

I made a custom character sheet, and based it off the one from the rulebook of the game I am hoping to use (Renaissance Deluxe in case anyone is curious). I started testing it and found that the attributes appeared in the console in the order they appear on the character sheet, which is fine and dandy, except this particular character sheet has a good deal of non-critical info towards the top of the sheet. Is there a way to change the order attributes appear in the console from the order they appear on the form? Tab indexing the various inputs? Something else? Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping I don't have to redo the form (not that it is a great deal if work). Sorry if this topic has been covered before

Okay, after doing some more reading, and more experimentation.... I answered my own question. The sequence Attributes are listed in, on the "Attributes & Abilities" tab of the character sheet can be re-ordered via drag and drop. It is only the initial order that is derived from the character sheet. However, that does lead to the suggestion, as setting up tab indexes is a very easy thing to do with html, would it be a very difficult enhancement to have a sub-function that orders initial Attributes via a reference to the tab index? It's not much work to add tab indexes to character sheets, and it would save a lot of time on players re-ordering their attributes.

That sounds like a fine suggestion for the Suggestions forum. 😀 I agree with you, though, I think it would be a good idea a nice way to give Character Sheet creators a way to order things a little more.
