GREEETINGS YOUNG ADVENTURERS! I'm looking to playtest a little adventure with the help of some new and maybe a few experienced players. We'll be running a little adventure into an abandoned dwarven city with pregenerated characters. D&D is surprisingly easy to pick up for new players; learning while we play is an easy thing to do, but the ruleset is readily available for perusing. Don't be disheartened! I am more than happy to teach new players and answer any questions. Please let me know if you have any concerns. To play you will need: * A working microphone and speakers * 3-4 hours of free time after the starting point * An account at http://roll20.net/ (its free) * A skype account The Adventure You are venturing into the ancient dwarven city of Stonehaven that has been abandoned for over a century. Before its fall, the city was heralded as the last bastion for rich Dwarven society in Galazir. Set upon the world's greatest ruby mine, the city is certainly filled with riches, but the obvious temptation leaves many to wonder why it has never been plundered and why the famed rubies of Stonehaven have not found their way into the auctions of Arholme. Very little is known about the city's culling and the few survivors were unwilling to explain. The investigation into Stonehaven's fate has been a difficult one, you have learned very little besides its general location and a warning. Former guardsman Yuril Wolrun told you, "A great, fiery evil torments those halls; if you go searching for riches you'll get much more than you bargain for. Stonehaven should be left to rot and ruin." These somber words echo through the minds of you, the adventurers, as you face the cold, high brass doorways to the city as our adventure begins. The Adventurers [ Gel Grimstone ]: The stout dwarven folk hero from the northlands; Grimstone is famous among dwarves for leading the defense against the Goblin Horde in the Great War of the 3rd Age. Determined, proud, and a defender of freedom; Gel is a powerful ally. [ Henry Quill ]: The dashing and cunning son of Rinsil's Trade Minister, Henry Quill is an independent and resourceful human. His dungeoneering skill is second only to his ego. [ Illara A'Liadul ]: The stormy and beautiful Half-Elven entertainer, many of Galazir's richest are familiar with her charms and incredible grasp of magic. She is much, much more than a pretty face. [ Sarin Y'lenith ]: Bound to the otherworld and enlightened with knowledge beyond grasp, Sarin is an incredible warlock with a patron to match. Crackling with power, only a fool would oppose his will. [ Torr ]: Outlander, maurader, bounty hunter, and indominable foe, Torr is the barbarian of which songs are sun. Despite his rough demeanor and lack of social skill, you wouldn't like him when he's angry. [ Urich Volen ]: Do not mistake his kindness for foolishness; few beings can withstand the holy wrath of Urich. Defender of the weak, the mistreated, and his brave allies; Volen is indispensable. The Details Feel free to show up without any preparation; I am more than comfortable running everyone through the rules as we go. This game allows us to pick up and play very easily.
