Game Start Time: 7:30 CST Game Day : Friday What are we looking for?: Players who are interested in roleplaying more than rollplaying! Experienced or new, doesn't matter to us. Our House Rules: http://ticcampaign.weebly.com/house-rules.html D&D 5th Edition - Shadows of War is going to be played as a sandbox adventure with a number of the official modules as lead ins for new story elements and to grow the story of the realms. Players will have more or less total freedom to visit exotic locations of their choosing be they cities, dungeons or points of interest on the map. From time to time there will be story events where players are guided to important quests or interesting dungeons where treasure, danger and puzzles await them. There will be a mixture of quests, guided stories and dungeon crawls in this campaign. Each and every session will be different - sometimes combat will be the focal point, while other times quests and RP heavy scenarios will be played out. Age 18+ audience - Our group likes to have a good time at the table, some times that probably means that we aren't the most politically correct people in the world. There might be some strong language going in TS3 or over roll20. We're not looking to offend anybody's delicate sensibilities so if you apply please make sure you've got some tough skin! We're looking for fun loving players who are interested in good OOC conversation and having a great time in game. Campaign Website & House Rules - We've got a lot of them! The system is more or less the same, we do levels differently and we have a lot of mechanics that make the game a tad more dangerous than it already is! We're also using 'achievements' and a few other gamey systems like that because they're just fun for the players and something else to work towards while developing your characters.

I'm interested, I've been DMing a Horror Campaign in 5e in real life and I'm well versed with the rules and just browsed the house rules. Seems cool. I would be wanting to play a Drow Wizard Guild Merchant (Unless you don't allow Drow then I can change, I'm fine with RP hate in-game though.)
This sounds like the type of campaign I would be interested in. I'm new to 5e but have been thumbing through the PH and have a basic understanding of the rules. As far as my character preference, I'm pretty flexible and would be able to play a class based on the groups needs.

Just chiming in that this game sounds great. Due to time zone incompatibility I wont be able to play it, but it sure sounds awesome :) I will steal your dungeon die rule for my home game.
Hey! I'm actually really interested in learning more about this and possibly joining up. Friday at 7:30 CST is more than doable for me, and I've recently fallen in love with the latest iteration of D&D. I'd definitely love to join a group that emphasizes roleplay, and the house-rules are all the things I try to implement but fail to enforce when running campaigns (oh god why did I allow a drow-rogue from another plane and a fey corgi magus?). Quick notes: - I have no overall preference for class or race - The we that keeps getting dropped-- is that referring to a party of players or a larger cooperative?
Hey I was reading your house rules and i would love to join your group. I have the PHB and have a Monk with a criminal background that i'm looking forward to see where his story goes. Hope to hear from you!
I would love to try my hand in your campaign and all of your rules are agreeable to me. I would enjoy playing as a Dwarf Fighter, but if their are other forms or holes in the current party that need to be filled i would gladly take those on as well. I look forward to hearing from you!
Wow, thanks for the interest boys and girls! I'll be sending out confirmations later today. Just trying to go through all of the PMs and the messages on the forums. I'm so glad to see so many 5e players out there!
