Dynamic Lighting Multiplier not working in GM View

When I use the Light multiplier for a token, for instance multiply it by 2, the token's extended vision is not visible when I'm in the default GM view. When I use Ctrl+L to view the token's vision, I can see the multiplied vision. PC Stats: Chrome Version: 39.0.2171.65 m Windows 8.1 Flash Version: 15.0.-1 GM View: Token View:

I believe, in GM mode, you are getting the view from every token you control. Ctrl+L is just that token's view.

Andrew , it is working correctly. Here is the relevant post: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1318540/new-upda... And the quote from that post: "By default, GMs (even though they can control all tokens) will see all light at the standard 1.0x multiplier. If you highlight a token and press "Ctrl+L" to view as that token, you will see the increased light distances if that token has a light multiplier set."
Any particular reason why that is? I use that sight line to figure out if the party can see mobs or not. I'd rather not have to keep switching between tokens when they have light multipliers. (In this case the Mage cast Night-Eye on everyone in the group, multiplying everyone's sight by 2).

Think of it this way, if they showed the 2.0 multiplier on tokens while others didn't have it, you still wouldn't be seeing what the party sees. as all lights would be 2x the size. (talking about wall lights, hanging torches, other peoples if "others can see" is checked on them). Or say you have a 1.0,2.0, 2.3, and 4.0 set in the party..and it showed them in GM view. whose would you be seeing it as? You cannot see all rendered at the same time. You could argue "render the highest one". But then youd have the opposite, people complaining "I got a party of 10, only one has 2.0, but it looks as if they can all see what he does to me" So it makes sense the GM gets 1.0 if you want to see how it looks different to one guy, you have to pick him.
Ok, I had forgotten how the multiplier effects other lights, thanks.
