Text Snap on/off

I would like to request/suggest the ability to turn off text snapping when a grid is turned on. Just like the tokens have "Is Drawing". I can already work around it by turning off the grid, placing the text and then turning on the grid, but it would be nice to have the simple method like other tokens.

You can use ALT+ arrow keys /cursor to "fine tune" text position.
Vince said: You can use ALT+ arrow keys /cursor to "fine tune" text position. Tried this, and if I place the Text on the Map layer your suggestion seems to work. Still snaps initially, but you can "bump" it with the arrow keys like you said. Apparently this is not the case for the GM layer where I want to put the notes. You CAN still "bump" the text, but 1 full square (or "unit") at a time. I then tried moving the text from the Map layer to the GM layer. The text I had on the Map layer that did "bump" without snapping now snapped on the GM layer and if you try to "bump" using the arrow keys it now behaves as described above (moving 1 full square/unit at a time). Either way, thanks Vince for the tip! Learned something new.

You can hold alt and drag it with the mouse as well.
