Anyone interested in playing a space faring campaign? Skype (mic) Wednesday 7PM EST (Starting December 2nd)

Looking to put together a group together a group of enthusiastic roleplayers. interested in a open ended space faring campaign. Must have skype. Must be available to play for about 4 hours. System we'll be using is Traveller (Mongoose Edition) and we'll be doing character creation Tuesday to ensure we can all work together a backstory and have all necessary roles filled. Will start as long as I can get 2 interested players. People who've never played the system before are invited to join and will detail you the rules privvately.

I don't think I'd be able to handle wednesdays, my steady off days are Mon/Thu, but if they day ever changes i'd be interested.

The games date is hard set upon Wednesday unfortunately. It -might- get moved to thursday, but for now my thursdays are booked.

Whats the theme? Exploration, aliens, star fleet combat, space opera?

The system is extremely lethal and I will start the game with the ship unarmed to make it more of a active effort for a players to decide whether they want space combat or not.

I am interested. I've never played Traveller before. I'm currently GMing two Stars Without Number campaigns, but it would be nice to be a player in a space RPG. I value role playing above combat and don't meta game the characters I'm playing, as that takes a lot of the fun out of things.

OH! I love the travelers games.. even though i never played it. I only created a character once. I know exactally what I would do too. I would sacrfice my character creation for the good of all and get us as much ship ((whatevers)) as i can get so that we can start less in debt!
