Clarification on Changes to LFG (No More "Apply for Campaign" button)

In the last update, we made some much-needed changes to the way that the LFG system works. You'll now notice that it loads much more quickly, the results are paginated, and there is now a full listing of all results (before only about 50 were showing up out of 300+). One of the other changes we made was to get rid of the "Apply for Campaign" button. While it was a good idea, we found that the actual execution was pretty lacking, with no good way for players and GMs to communicate about the "application". Instead, we've now given each LFG listing its own "mini-forum", just like the one that each Campaign has. Our intent here is for players and the GM to communicate about the campaign prior to the player joining the campaign. So interested players make a new post (or reply to a single thread if you make a "Post your Application Here" thread), and then once a good fit is determined, you invite them to join the Campaign. That last step was sort-of left up to each GM to accomplish, though, and we realized that it wasn't working well. To help with that, we've now added a button next to each player who posts in your campaigns' LFG listings forum -- if that player isn't already in the campaign, you'll see a handy button like this: If you click that button, we'll handle sending an invite to that player that they can then accept to join the Campaign. In addition, this is the same as sending them an invite using the "Invite Players" option on the Campaign Details page, so you can view all the invitations you've sent, including those sent using this new method, there: Hopefully this helps makes it a little easier for GMs to get players into their games via the LFG tool.
I had a number of listing threads on the page that now seem to have entirely disappeared after I stopped looking for group. I reopened it to see if I could see the threads again, to no avail. While I don't currently need them, I did have people who were my stand-by choices who I now do not know the names of. Is there any way to recover those threads?

Is there any way to recover those threads? Hmmm...possibly. What was the name of the campaign? To be honest, I never considered this. I'll see about getting it changed so this won't happen in the future (if you re-open the listing, it will re-use the same mini-forum instead of creating a new one.)
Thanks for getting back to me. The Campaign is/was called "...By the Company He Keeps".
Is there a way other than bookmarking to be reminded of posts in particular mini-forum? I've looked at several and since there are no notifications it isn't easy to keep track of them all, assuming I get replies. Thanks.
I find this change horrible, I don't like it at all. Plus, it seems like you don't know if a group leader is active because people post on the mini forum, the group leader accepts them, and then they continue their discussion on the private forum.

Darth Pwny, how is the change horrible relative to the old system? Is there something you think would work better? By 'group leader' I assume you mean the GM? In the old system there was no way to tell if the GM or campaign was active either. Nothing there has changed. - Gauss

Riley, I am also having the same issue as Daniel Anix. Would you be able to recover the mini forum. It was called Grimlights rise of the. Runelords. Thanks
What if you were in the middle of the application process with a dozen or more individuals? How do you track down those lost souls?

Folks, I also lost my mini-forum. Could you please restore it? Campaign: Savage Shadora.
I'm curious what criteria the looking for group is sorted by? I would love to sort by time the game is scheduled to start with the soonest listed first.
I would love to join a Campaign of Pathfinder my Email is AnthoenyI4@yahoo.com hit me up if I could join :)

This thread is not a thread to look for a game, it is discussing changes to the LFG system itself. - Gauss
