So, anyone out there that would be in to this? I stress, I haven't run in R20 before, so would welcome an easy going laid back crowd to play with. Advice is good, being an asshole isn't. Playing with an experienced R20er who would be interested in throwing me some direction as we go would be awesome. The aim would be to run some of the classics in a modern and coherent style, building into the X series of modules and beyond. Let me know :)

And, to folks looking at this post, please throw a short comment saying hi or good luck or whatever here to keep it bumped? I mean.. You must have liked the look of it to even had clicked the title, right? ;) Roll20 seems to need more active GMs... Help encourage one.
Definitely interested, but I couldn't play Thurs or Fri evenings because when it's 6pm GMT it's 11 am in Arizona and I'm at work. I could do Saturdays as long as it's wrapped up by 2am GMT (7pm my time), I'm already in a 2e campaign Saturday nights.

Sounds fun. Rules Cyclopedia is a great system for this (it's like a re-organized version of D&D Basic-Expert-Companion-Masters). You will find some interest in this old school style. Note there are a few community campaigns in Roll20 related to OSR (Old School Revival) which you can find in LFG and crosspost your pitch there if you like. Also under the LFG if you post-up your pitch I recommend tagging it in the games drop-down with both: D&D Basic, and Old School Revival, If I had time open to join another campaign I would. Something I would be happy to do is answer any questions you might have about DM'ing on Roll20 for this kind of 80's-90s D&D campaign.

Guys, it looks like we might be gaining some momentum over in this forum with an OSR game, so if anyone is interested in it as a thing post it there I think. I will hold off running until I have more practical experience under my belt with R20 :)
That link just takes me to my campaigns page.
