LFG 1 Shots Pref. 5E Newbie Friendly

Okay, so a few things. I'm pretty green to TRPGs in general (I played very little of PF) and I want to get into 5E, bought the Starters Kit, only for all of my friends to bail, woop. Now, I don't have a whole lot of free time having to deal with Uni, but I am very much up for a couple of one-shots or a pick up and play kind of game? (I'm not even sure if that even happens..) I am 21, I live in England so in the GMT zone and I -think- that's about it. Really looking for a group or something. P.S. I have no DM skill, so that's probably a good thing to flag up. Anyway, cheers for reading!

I have had the exact same thing happen to me. Got the starter kit, got friends that were "interested" only to bail on me. They tend to play the older 3.5/Pathfinder games. So are more comfortable with that. I am happy to go through the begginer box if you can find more people. The only down side is that if you want a more stable compaign then I can probably only DM one a month. edit- I too am from the UK so timing won't be too much of a issue if you can do around 8pm.

I've played a fair bit of Pathfinder as well, but 5E sounds a lot less crunchy, which I'm very interested in. I'm in Australia on Sydney time (GMT +10). Pretty open for time at the moment, since I'm off work. I have a kid though, so it might be best for me to play your Sunday night (my Monday morning) while she's at school.

I work regular nights but varying patterns so one week it might be a weekend that I do, the following week it might the start of the week. I have just looked at my rota and I do have a couple of Sundays off this month; this coming Sunday and the 21st. Again I am happy to do the game but it would have to be around 8pm GMT because I have kids. My wife likes the house to be tidy after the kids have gone to bed so I have to help lol.

Okay Cool! I probably won't be available this side of Christmas, I might have a friend on board, but I'd like to get a few more if possible!
