Purchased tokens in other people's campaigns?

I can't seem to see anywhere in-game or out where I'd be able to use tokens I've purchased for myself in another user's campaign? Is that just not possible? I wouldn't be surprised but I wanted to confirm before I purchase any tokens as I'd be mostly interested in using them in other users campaigns.

You're correct there is hardly anywhere in-game to use your purchases as a Player. Note that generally the Player can only place 1 image into your GM's campaign on your own, and that image is the Character portrait on the Bio tab, which you can drag a picture to from your Library, or upload a pic, as a player. That is the one place I believe you could use 1 image purchased from the Marketplace, in your GM's campaign, without needing the GM to load it for ya. Players can't place Tokens or other art assets directly on the tabletop anyway, so usually players need to collaborate with their GM to get a token on the tabletop. Some of the Marketplace products you can DL and co-op with your GM. Some you can't. The ones where you can re-use them are the ones that are licensed for Download, which is a lot of them, actually. (Still it would be easier if the GM owns the product in their purchases rather than yours, but at least at that point it is possible & permitted to use your purchases by downloading and re-uploading). The download button doesn't really appear until after you purchase the set, but the Free Tokens show you an example of how it looks when there is Download capability offered, https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/item/5359/ar... where it says: Download Full Size (Right-click and use "Save As...") The ones that are not licensed for downloading are generally (supposed to be) indicated with a little blue message in the Marketplace entry that says "One or more items in this set are licensed only for use in Roll20 and cannot be downloaded for use in other software." Those products, once purchased, you could only bring them into a campaign where you're the GM, I believe.

I'm not certain, but I think characters in the Chatacter Vault retain their token, and if your GM lets you import a Chatacter that way, you can have it use your purchased token. You'd want to verify it works though, as I've only done it wktg a token in my personal library.
Thanks guys, this is good information. I will try the character vault.
It's undocumented and probably not intended behavior but you can drop your image onto your character portrait, save it, then drag your character portrait image onto the tabletop. In this way you can put your tokens as your portrait, drag it to the table, and set your portrait back to your portrait again. The dragged tokens won't be associated with your sheet, but you can control them.
