Vampire the Masquerade newbie game

I am currently running a V:Dark Ages game and I have had quite a few people ask to join in, which would be great, but most that have stated interest say they have little experience with the system or the lore. Unfortunately my current game of vampire takes quite a great deal of knowledge about the system and the lore in order to prevent them from being left out. So I have decided to see if their would be any interest in a learn the game as you go campaign. the game would not be very long, and it might be a bit boring to those who are more experienced with the system, but if their is one thing I know is not around much is Vampire and I am more than willing to teach and run such a game. Provided I get at least 3-4 player interests.
Well I have some experience. I did a year long campaign of Vampire as the storyteller that allowed me get good with the rules, but lore wise not so much. I just ran with the lore in 20th anniversary edition book, nothing else. So my idea on clan history and Vampire lore in general itself is rather elementary. Also I would love be player in Vampire game cause I never have done that. Deepest Appreciation Rorschach
What day and time would you run this game, also are you using the dark ages vtm book?
I'm a veteran Vampire Storyteller and player who may be interested (I can't find a Vampire game as a player for years now). There are two fundamental points that need clarifying beforehand: 1) Will this be text-based or voice-required? I'm asking because I can't do voice. 2) What ages will be included? As a single man nearing 30 I have no interest in dealing with anyone who isn't at least 18+.
Also interested, if the time and day will be good. Didn't play Dark Ages at all, thought flipped through half of the old rulebook some time ago. Hava some experience in V:tM. Played a fun little campaigh as a Nosferatu.
Heya Steve, I'm very interested in playing VtM (or Dark Ages). I have little experience with the system, but I'm eager to learn. I'm available to play almost any day of the week from 3PM to 1AM EST. If there's still any spot for me, I would love to join you guys. Thanks in advance for you consideration.

Well to clarify for everyone, this would be a game set in the modern era, so we would be using the 20th anniversary edition book, game time would be any time after 5PM (UTC -6:00) and the only days I am unable to play would be Fridays and Sundays. I have found text based chat can slow a game down a bit, but I also understand that some people prefer text based, so I will leave that up to the players to decide as to what you would prefer and I will go with the majority. Finally, I will note be enforcing any age limits per say, but I feel for any WoD game requires a certain level of maturity, and if that is found to be difficult for a particular player he or she will be removed.
I'd be interested in a V:TM game, I'm familiar with the lore but have only played 1 short game. I prefer voice games, they just go smoother in my opinion. If you have a spot I'd love to join. Thanks.
I haven't gotten my 20th anniversary vampire book, yet. (I have the core and werewolf books, at the moment.) I might be interested, depending on the day that you play, and if it's a text game. Voice games just go too slowly for me with all of the sidetracks that you get in a normal game, and multiple background noise from several mics makes it hard for me to differentiate what is happening. Plus, I like the total immersion of a text game.
Not too much has changed with the expception of a few clerifications, If need be you can create a character using the revised rules and I can clerify anything that might need changing.
So I think I have a few interest already but we are still looking for a one more, if anyone wishes to enter the game it is in the listings
I've sadly only played the pc game but I liked it alot that I got the 20th year revision ed.
Do you still have room? I have the 20th Revision Edition and would like to learn how to play WoD.
Cool, go ahead and bring me either a background or character sheet and we can go from their, I will be accepting application for the game untill Friday
Steve A. said: Cool, go ahead and bring me either a background or character sheet and we can go from their, I will be accepting application for the game untill Friday Wait I am already in the game I did neither of those things. I should probably do that, should'nt I?
LOL yea I was wondering when you where going to bring me something
Yeah and I just notice the time is exactly during another one of my games. So I think I will have to leave unless the time changes.
