3.5e - DM lf players most interested in story not combat/min/maxing

I am a DM seeking a group of 4-5 players who are interested in a story driven campaign. There will of course be plenty of combat, which is done using the 3.5e ruleset, but I would like to focus mostly on the story, the characters - both PCs and NPCs, and the world. I was recommended the following rules as a guideline and I believe they fit - <a href="http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?2670" rel="nofollow">http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?2670</a>... A bit about me -- - dm'd a few campaigns, am familiar with the rules and how to use features like dynamic lighting and api scripts - in uni atm - best times for me are mon, tu, th anytime or wed later in the day So to recap a bit of what I seek -- - players totally uninterested in min/maxing . This game will not be for you if - you like discussing character sheets and rules all day instead of playing, if your character is too op from min/maxing that you do 9x as much damage as anyone else, also if your character is so underpowered because you don't understand dnd, if you got feats/prcs/etc from some obscure errata or dragon magazine, if you don't care about learning backstories or talking to NPCs. - Now this isn't to say we won't be following the rules or homebrewing. There won't be any homebrew allowed. But before you try something just ask yourself, is this going to break the game/defeat the purpose... Can I bypass the quest with some obscure spell... I believe most dnd'ers are not idiots and know when they are breaking the game. As a general rule, just assume no one else in your party nor the dm cares when you do crazy damage/pvp/mess up the story. In fact rather than being impressed they will likely be annoyed. - players who don't mind a bit of railroading. My games tend to be more final fantasy/legend of zelda rather than elder scrolls, you aren't really free to do whatever you want, I mean you are but to a limit. - I would not mind a mix of guys and girls, not to be a creeper, I'm not even into birds, but I feel like it makes for a better game. - no silly voices, messing around during a session, etc - also need to be able to commit to the times chosen - type the number 2 at the beginning of any application message you reply with here or in a pm so I know you read. - over 18 - basically you need to be interested in the storytelling aspect of tabletop above all else I am also looking for a co-DM so if you are interested in that rather than being a PC let me know. I will send the lfg page url in a pm or over skype once accepted.

2 What timezone are you in? I'm interested but time is a big factor.
2 Sounds very interesting, but as Bart W. asks, what timezone are you in? If the timezone is manageable for me, i'd like to join.
timezone is gmt but my schedule on mon, tu, th is very flexible, i can play earlier in the day or even later at night.
2 I'm in GMT too so that works out. I personally am available on Monday and Thursday evenings, and the best time for a session on those days would be around 6pm. So yes, if the game happened on either of those days I'd be very interested in playing. I'm pretty happy to hear about the rp focus as opposed to combat one; I am decently experienced with 3.5 so that's not a problem and I have skype with a functioning mic. Haven't thought of a character just yet. Also, yes, I am 18. Anything else you'd like to know for applying?
2 GMT-6 here. Would love to get in on a game early (for me) Mon, Tue, or Thur mornings. I also love story driven. I have a couple of ideas I'd love to role play that are difficult in most games because of min/maxers.

2 GMT -5. Tuesday or Thursday mornings and early afternoons (until 8pm) would be fine, or Wednesday between 6pm and 11pm (I converted to GMT for you.) I strongly prefer story based games, and am definitely not a min-max player. I have a tendency to play rogues, rangers, fighters, and I've always wanted to try a monk, but I'm happy to play whatever class. I only pull from the core book. I'm 28 years old. I don't know when you are thinking of starting - December is not great for me (I just got married, so I have my honeymoon and then Christmas/New Years with two families), so I almost didn't reply, but your times, edition, and play style are exactly what I'm looking for. I can commit to playing every week at any of my above times starting the week of Jan. 5 until at least May. EDIT: I've never played a game on Roll20, but I learn fast. Very experienced with 3.5 - I played one campaign for about 3 years after converting from 3E
2 or 3 with a dash of 7 to go of 8 right around the corner of 4th street down the 1st lane, then up the ladder to the 5th floor and take a leap of faith to 6 o'clock and then you have set your life 9 years back, and all that while paying 0€... (aka: Nonsense.) I can could easily join then, as long as it's not Tuesdays, already playing with some guys then. If allowed, i would be happy if i can play a Warforged Cleric, Already got a story for this character. But don't expect a clean law abiding generic run-of-the-mill healing cleric with this guy. I'm 28 (by January) and got just about 12 years experience with D&D. I can play from GMT 4:45-ish, Live in Denmark and get home a tad late. Once admitted to the game, i tend to stick with the game, thuruoughly. Won't leave without good reason!
