Roll20 & Windows RT?

I am thinking about getting a Windows RT device. But I was curious if Google Chrome and in particular Roll20.net will work on it. When our group plays we use Roll20.net combined with Google Hangout. This makes it so an Android or Ipad will not work, because they do not let me run two windows at the same time. Have any of you had any experience trying to use Roll20.net on a Windows RT device such as a phone or a Surface RT?

Works fine on a Surface Pro. Can't think why an RT would cause you any issues. Very small play area mind you.
I don't have access to an RT machine to verify but RT and PRO are two very different beasts. Not sure you can even load Chome on an RT.

The latest Windows RT is based off of windows 8.1 and it uses the windows store when does not have chrome listed in it. From what I can find out, Chrome browser is locked out of it by default but you might be able to download and install it. I don't know how many hoops you will have to jump through to get it installed. The following links go to the info I found so far. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2917929 http://www.reddit.com/r/Surface/comments/1rqx4g/ch... While IE is not a supported browser ( Supported browsers) , there has been members mentioning that they have been able to use roll20 in the latest version but on the other hand they also have stated problems with it..
Oh, thank you for finding that Pat S. I really was hoping to be able to find a cheep way of doing what I needed. I am not willing to jump through all the hoops, so I will have to pay the extra for a pro.

Which tablet are you looking at to use for roll20?
Not a particular table so much as hoping saving $100 on an RT tablet versus a full version of Windows. Currently I am using my Pro3, but I was wanting to get a second convient tablet so I can have the second tablet for running what ever window was not my primary window at the time.

As a member my personally opinion would go with " get cheap android tablet". This is mostly due to you stating it would not be your primary tablet. For the amount you would spend on a win tablet, you could get two android tablets and use them in a face to face game, especially when the roll20 app comes out.

Yay Android. =) When I bought my tablet I wanted something big. I was looking at a Samsung Galaxy and a MS Surface as the two biggest available. The Surface was slightly bigger... but cost over 50% more.
