Looking to start a campaign for Eberron. Planning on every other Monday, at 8:30 EST, as stated in the topic, but am open to pretty much any other weekday (except Friday) at the same time slot.
I'm interested in playing. I've never played Eberron but I do have experience playing 4e in the Forgotten Realms setting. Any day or time is fine for me.
Do you have any specific restrictions in mind for character creation? What level would we be starting at? Are you planning on just doing a one-shot or a single module or were you planning on something a little bit more long term?
I'd like to start at level 2. Gives people a little more room to play with. No restrictions straight off, if you have access to it I have access to it, so we'd be fine. I'd really like to do something long-term, but if people prefer I can certainly just do a serial campaign, where people can drop in and out after every "module". I know how hard it is to keep players long-term online.
Sounds good to me. If we manage to get this going I'll be playing a Warforged Barbarian or some kind of Archer. Should I hold off on coming up with a background until you get some specifics ironed out?
I can poke at character ideas, but I'd rather get a feel for the potential module's themes and the makeup of the party first. Don't wanna be the one star pact warlock in a campaign about divine infighting, or the paladin surrounded by barbarians and druids.
Well, I have 2 ways to go. If we're going with a campaign theme, we'd probably be going aberration-heavy, without going into too much detail. If we're going with a serial story system, it'd be more focused on treasure-hunting at first, so pretty much any character interested in money or knowledge or the past would work.
Alrighty. If my count is right, I see 4 people that are ok with that time on Monday nights. I'll be PMing all interested, but I will still take one or two more if there is still interest.
Hey there, I just found the site- familiar with D&D up through 4e, and I can probably get me a pdf of eberron in time to play tomorrow. I'll certainly play whatever fills in tactical gaps, as I have all excitement and next-to-no experience, but I learn pretty quick. PM me; i'll be doing research.
I don't have any experience with tabletop rpgs, but I'm looking for a group to play with. I'm available virtually any day except Wednesdays and Fridays. If you're willing to admit a noob, let me know. I can get any necessary rulebooks and I like to think I'm a fast learner. Thanks.
If this thread is still up and running, I'd def like to throw my hat into the ring. I'm fairly new to Tabletop RPG's but I do have access to all 3 PHB's of 4e, and believe I am fairly well versed with how the game works. I currently have a few games going on another site via PbP, but would like to try this.
