New "sort by Alphabetically" in turn tracker actually "sort num low to high"

I like the new turn tracker feature of sor-tability but it does not act as labeled. Alphabetic sort is actually numeric sort low to high. Numerical sort is number high to low. It would be great if all 4 options were avail, i.e. Numerically high to low and low to high and alphabetically a-z and z-a

Confirmed, bug report filed.  Regarding the suggestions, I would post those in the suggestion forum.  - Gauss
To clarify: It sorts alphabetically (technically lexicographically) the Initiative Value, not the name of the tokens. So you can actually put into the initiative box for example "A", "B", "C", etc. What you are seeing is that when you sort lexicographically numbers sort like this: 1 11 121 2 245 277 Because technically "words" that "start with 1" come before "words" that "start with 2". So it's working properly.
Can you give me an example of where this would be useful? Because although "working properly", the labels as is are a bit confusing. -- Thanks,
It's intended for people who are using letters instead of numbers in the Initiative Tracker. If you're using number, you would want to use the "Sort Numerically", which as the label implies is meant for numbers. I was just clarifying why you were seeing the behavior of numbers being sorted low to high. People use letters/words in the Initiative field for a number of reasons, but one I'm familiar with is Savage Worlds, where the value is a card.
O.K. cool, thanks.
Riley There are also systems that use numbers for initiative with low numbers coming first (BRP and similar). While sort Alpha almost works for this it is possible to have 1 and 10 on the tracker which would put the '10's in the wrong place. Where I have numbers and letters in the tracker it still seems to keep show Sort Numeric as the default (highlighted?). Is this the case?  I now have a Custom Item for New Turn with 0 and one which I use for a turn counter. If I use Roman Numerals it does sort to the end with Sort Alpha. I'd rather have a Sort Numeric(ascending) option but the current Sort Alpha is workable.

LochaberAxe, regarding the first part of your post, that is easily fixed. 01, 02, 03 etc will come before 10.  - Gauss
Thanks Gauss. I take it that adding numbers e.g. typing +2 is not going to work in the Init Tracker? Just in the Tokens? I'd much rather have Sort Numeric (Ascending) as an option on the tracker settings.

If by adding you mean will it do math for you? Nope, you can have 2+2 and in the turn tracker itll show up as 2+2.  - Gauss
