I am interested as well, although I am incredibly new to D&D in it's entirety, i have a couple of the books needed (player's handbooks, planar handbook, and complete adventurer) i will most likely need help with character creation but i have a few basic ideas

I have some character ideas that might work out. Of course, things depend a bit on the group composition. What's that look like, so far? As for me, I am an older gamer, with a tendency towards skillbased/support characters. Since I tend to avoid evil alignments - why are "Libris Mortis" and "Vile Darkness" in the list, but not "Exalted Deeds", for instance? Mind, I have most of the older 3.5 books in hardcover, and a fair chunk of the newer ones as PDFs, so I doubt there'll be problems, either way, when it comes to source material.
