Inexperienced DM LF inexperienced players to start beginner's group

Hey guys, I have a little but not much experience DMing in general and I'm looking to start a group for beginners playing a new game which could be anything EXCEPT for D&D or Pathfinder. I'd prefer Numenera or Shadowrun 4E but I have plenty of other options and I'm open to suggestions. The game would be to start in 2015 so we'll have time to arrange days and times, decide on the game, format, create characters, etc. Cheers Chris
Shadowrun seems neat.
Great! I should have asked in the original post: Can you please let me know what times and days you would be available? I'll be available most days after 19:00 GMT. And do you have any experience at all: a) in general and b) with the game you're interested in playing?
Currently I am avaliable Tuesdays,Wednesdays, Sundays. I'm also GMT so our schedule would probably match-up fairly well. A) I've been playing on and off for about two years now, I now bits about many things but never really had a long going campaigns. B) I know how to make a character and I know a fair bit about Shadowrun but I barely have any playing experience.
Looks interesting, I am GMT+1, most evenings should work, my preference would be sunday if possible. I have shadowrun 5e but not 4, but could do 4 too if you wanted. I too would like to play something other than D&D and pathfinder, not too fussed on the game. Don't know much about numinera. Have been looking at star wars edge of empire (or rebellion era) as well. Really open to suggestions. I have a weak preference for shadowrun, but really open to anything. Don't have a lot of experience, played a lot of computer games, and a few intermittent PnP games over the years (mainly D&D), including one shadowrun game on roll20 which was fun (via www.reddit.com/r/runnerhub the balance between GMs and players there is pretty bad though, so it would be much better to get a regular group)
This seems cool. I'm free Monday to Thursday Atlantic standard time. Numenera looks really cool. would be willing to try shadowrun In general I don't have much experience. I am currently playing my first table top on sundays. as for those 2 systems I don't have any experience
Thanks everyone for your replies! For those of you who haven't heard of Numenera, check out their website: http://www.numenera.com/what-is-numenera/
Hey there, let me just throw in my stuff here. I'm on GMT+1, free on Friday evenings and Saturdays. In general, i would say i got quiet some experience, both in playing and GM'ing, having played Shadowrun 5E (i think, that was some time ago), Dungeon World, Stars without Number, some Homebrews and, of course, the old Pathfinder and DnD. I would love to see some Stars without Number, but im also interested in Shadowrun and Numenera.
Have seen a bit about Numenera before, but not much. I do like the stuff Monte Cook writes though. Had a quick look at the website and looks interesting too. I funded the tides of numenra CRPG kickstarter. Anyway will go pick up the book, as I like reading RPG books,
I'm interested in joining a game. I mostly have pathfinder and DND 3.5 and 4e experience, but I'm looking to get into other games. I've seen a bit of Shadowrun, but not much, and have heard nothing about Numenera, but after looking over the website I'm quite interested in giving that a go. My timezone is EST(GMT-5) and availability is really depending on the date.
Ars Magica is a really good game too.
Hiya, I'm an inexperienced player but open to any games. Going to look more into Shadowrun and have watched a Numenera campaign before and more than willing to try my hand at something new. I'm GMT+0 and generally free Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays but I'm we can arrange something.
