D20 modern

Just looking to see if anyone is interested in playing. I could dm/gm if need be.
I would love to try it, i'm very new but I am usually not that stupid with things like that :)
It's pretty much DnD with guns. And different classes. I prefer the Dnd Fantasy classes because the D20 modern classes are kinda stupidly named. Like Dnd has ranger, cleric etc. D20 modern has Strong Hero, Fast Hero, Smart Hero, Tough Hero etc. Usually when I play d20 modern we Just use homemade classes, admittedly we generally play as soliders and use classes like, engineer, rifleman, tank crew. Or just copy and paste the classes from battlefield. We always had fun though since I Dmed and things would start out all normal until some shit happens and before you know it your having a car chase with the players in a Humvee being chased by a old, rusty car with a machine gun on top of it.
I am running a d20 modern game on Tuesday nights EST, I will let you know if a spot opens up. I will find out tomorrow night. I deal less with soldiers as I do with either a Bank Robbery type campaign or a X-Files type mysteries.
Heck I'm willing to play anything. The only reason we played soldiers was because my friends who played only had experience with videogames and I figured they would have the most fun with that. Which they did.
I will tell you tomorrow. I am getting some noob friends used to the game, before I open up a full campaign. If I can't get you in on this game, PM me your info and I will keep you in mind for any future games, is that okay? BTW, you need to separate the way a class works with d20 Modern. Tell me what class are you as a person? You are defined by your characteristics which is why d20 Modern does this, then you add in Occupations (soldier, doctor, ect..) which is what DnD players would think of as classes. D20 also expects people to multi-class. If I was making me as a 10th level character, I would be 4 Fast, 3 Smart, 1 Tough, 2 (whatever the Charismatic is.) It's not perfect, but it works.
Me? As in real life? Well I would have to go with tough. Seeing as I played rugby and never got injured and could tackle people pretty well.
It was a rhetorical question, just making the point on why their system makes sense. (BTW, that make sense with the name IronHide) Either way, it can be made a fun system.
Oh. The way it was worded I thought you were literally asking. Take away the 'Tell me...' and I think I would have caught on to the rhetorical part better.
so... what are you going to do finaly?
Honestly Dunno. apparently I need to read deeper into the rules. Unless you don't mind homerules which is what I have experience with.
You may be getting a PM coming your way.
I would love home rules, way way easier for me to get into it :P
Is it too late to join? I'm a big fan of the system and bought all the books back in the days but never had a chance to play it (my players don't really like it).
