A subreddit was recently started with the purpose of making the most inclusive setting ever made. Right now we are deciding on the origin of the world, then we will work on deities, planes and mechanics. The goal is to have a world with a distinct history with sections for DnD era, modern, and future type games. Our hope is that after we flesh out the basics of the world, DMs will drop plot hooks in the forum (which will be edited for consistancy with the world) other DMs can then scroll through our access database to see which bad guys haven`t had their stories closed and run an adventure on it. If the community likes the tale of how the players interact with the bad guy it becomes a part of the world`s lore. If the community overwhelmingly likes how Trog the barbarian aquired the maul of Morag the destroyer and leveled the walls of the kinggdom of Morotia it becomes lore, other DMs can then point out in laterr games how it seems like there is a patch in the wall that doesn`t match and locals can tell the tales for story depth, rather than it being another dull castle town you pass through. We will be working on the early world first (dnd type era) then modern, then future and recruiting mods for each era to help maiantain consistancy and prevent trolling.
