Hello, I am looking for some people to play a strange game of D&D. Taking elements from several different versions of D&D and mushing them together, then un-focusing our eyes until they look like they kind of blend. The Races & Classes of 1st Edition AD&D. The Skill selection of 4th/5th Edition AD&D. A *variation on the Skill system of 2e. (*: Variation means the original BECMI prototype for the 2e system.) Death rules are a casserole of various 3rd Edition, BECMI, & 5th Edition elements. (Zero HP means unconscious, -10 HP means dead, -1 HP per turn loss until stabilized, 5% chance to self-stabilize every turn upon save, 7/Constitution Modifier = number of days rest needed before recovery after near-death.) Most of the rest of the systems will come from BECMI OD&D. (Ability Score limits and Modifiers, Initiative, Reactions, etc.) Obviously, this means a great deal of information processing. So it's probably not ideal for everyone. But i can present a lot of the information you'll need in self-made tables and such. So you don't need to have any or all of the books ahead of time. I get that this might be a weird thing to do, and that everyone has their own favorite version. But i have played them all and haven't quite been satisfied by any of them, even though they all have their own strengths. If this sounds interesting to you, i'm looking to run a test-dungeon using the proposed ideas.
