Looking for some weird people for a weird D&D game.

Hello, I am looking for some people to play a strange game of D&D. Taking elements from several different versions of D&D and mushing them together, then un-focusing our eyes until they look like they kind of blend. The Races & Classes of 1st Edition AD&D. The Skill selection of 4th/5th Edition AD&D. A *variation on the Skill system of 2e. (*: Variation means the original BECMI prototype for the 2e system.) Death rules are a casserole of various 3rd Edition, BECMI, & 5th Edition elements. (Zero HP means unconscious, -10 HP means dead, -1 HP per turn loss until stabilized, 5% chance to self-stabilize every turn upon save, 7/Constitution Modifier = number of days rest needed before recovery after near-death.) Most of the rest of the systems will come from BECMI OD&D. (Ability Score limits and Modifiers, Initiative, Reactions, etc.) Obviously, this means a great deal of information processing. So it's probably not ideal for everyone. But i can present a lot of the information you'll need in self-made tables and such. So you don't need to have any or all of the books ahead of time. I get that this might be a weird thing to do, and that everyone has their own favorite version. But i have played them all and haven't quite been satisfied by any of them, even though they all have their own strengths. If this sounds interesting to you, i'm looking to run a test-dungeon using the proposed ideas.
when are you looking to run it?
Not entirely sure yet, depends on when people are available. Maybe saturday(s)?
Time zone?
I'm intrigued. Only ever played 4e but have the 2e handbook. I'm all for catching on if you'll have me. Saturdays are perfect.
Gozer the Gozerian said: Time zone? Time zone isn't super relevant just yet, as we technically don't have a set day, much less a time in mind. But since you asked, CST. The thing i've seen happen for those of us native to 4e, is that you'll either be blown away by the other versions or you won't like them at all. Either way, you're welcome to try it out.
I'm interested in trying this if you are still looking for players. I have played a lot of old infinity engine games which run on 2e I believe but other than that I'm not super familiar with any particular ruleset, which might make it easier for me to adapt to this than someone who is really into a certain one.

Full plate, and packing steel. Sounds good. Saturday(s) are the current tentative day. How might that work for you?
Sorry to cancel on you man but something came up, I won't be available saturday. Maybe next time.
Well I love the sound of this! I know a little over a week has passed, a little crazy with the holidays, but I'd love to see this game make it to the light of day. I believe you have 2-3 players and you are GM. How many players are you looking to suck in? I have a couple of buddies I could reel in.
Id like to jump in on this. am on GMT though so might not be able to help =[
