I'll send you a PM soon if you don't mind parting with any more information on the game itself before I commit. No worries Alhendors, my game concept is a rather simple one: every one of the PC's is the retinue of sorts for a local popular Nobleman. He's a gregarious, alcoholic, gambler, who has almost lost all of his fortune, and the only thing that keeps him balancing precariously on the edge of disaster and bankrupcy (and you all losing your mostly cushy positions in his manor!) is... you PC's! :) There are a cast of characters in his household as well, some higher rank than you, some lower, some the same, but you PC's are the favored of his Lordship and he usually takes you on his crazy and dangerous (mis)Adventures and it's up to you all to try to keep this former Knight on the right track and holding on to his money and power for as long as you can. :) That actually sounds like an incredibly interesting idea. A nice change from the D&D style kill monsters, get loot, kill the antagonist. Though I must ask, given the sensitive situation for the character I had in mind... Would Wizards be allowed? Particularly a Metal Wizard as that'd tie in perfectly with the whole idea of making/sustaining money. Perhaps the noble or one of his advisor would call upon the Gold College's assistance to aid with the financial problem in particular, and so they send an Apprentice, believing this to be a good task to prove his/her worth? Sure! Except I'm looking to start at the bottom but with some extra XP to start. The PC's would be "near end of 1st" to "just getting to 2nd career" type characters, so not pushovers, but not the best in their fields just yet! I'd also allow for a little extra gear as well on a case by case basis.
