A friend and I co-dm a game, taking turns back and forth being the DM of the game at hand. He was the one who started the campaign. He was originally of the "Supporter" level, and has forgotten to renew his subscription. I did notice, however, that when I took over as DM, I had the ability to play with dynamic lighting and such, things that I couldn't do as a free account type. I've recently had a chance to play on the Dev server, and I liked it alot. Even just having the ability to pop out character sheets into a new tab is awesome, like sliced-bread awesome. I would like to become a mentor, and probably will be doing so by the middle of next month. My question here in lies, in order for it to affect our current game, can I keep the mentor level membership for myself? Or do I need to gift it to the DM who started the campaign? I'm under the assumption that if we wanted to move the the Dev server anyways, it would be a moot point; the person with the mentor level membership would have to start up a new game anyways. It was something I was curious about, and wanted to address before spending my money.
