The End of the World - Zombie Apocalypse

Any interest out there in playing an epic campaign for the new game by Fantasy Flight Games, The End of the World: Zombie Apocalypse?

I haven't seen the game, but I may be interested in learning it, depending on the day and time that you'd play, and if it's voice or text-based.

I don't do all text, sorry. It slows the game down to a crawl and some players begin to lose interest. I also do not buy the "it breaks my immersion" argument. These games are designed to be played at a table with a GM verbally describing things to you and with players discussing amongst themselves.

It's interesting that your first assumption is that a person wants immersion, and not that they just can't hear what's being said over a voice chat. That tells me a lot.

Because I have dealt with several people that claim it breaks their immersion to use voice chat.

However, getting this thread back on track what is everyone's availability like? I have some real-life friends from my face-to-face gaming group that will be playing with us as well so it should be a fun and engaging game. I will likely run the zombie mega campaign War of the Dead with it. It is a very lengthy mega campaign in the same vein as The Walking Dead with tons of character development and growth. Please note/keep in mind I am seeking dedicated players who will show up to each session as best he/she can. This is a very long mega campaign and I really want players that are character driven, good roleplayers, reliable and that want to be in for the long haul to finish the campaign to see the resolution of the epic story. If this sounds like something you are interested in I will try to make room for you.

I am very interested. I've only ever done Dungeon World (attend one every Saturday night/ Sunday morning for the last few months) so it would depend on the time that you are planning to do this. Long time roleplayer, newbie tabletopper. XD

Would Thursdays at around 6 om eastern be out of the question for most of you?

Sundays are my best day. Thursday that early is hard as my work has me doing 11-10 [sometime out early] that day. Wednesday is normally my other free day as well.

Sundays are my free Days so im down for the zombie campaign!
