Let players search the journal too!

Hi, new subscriber - your recent updates put me over the line to paying support. Been trialing for about a month and very impressed. I'm really impressed with the search & tagging function in the last round of updates, but sadly players can't search yet? I would have thought that would be an easy thing to allow (or let the GM allow) - my players are always complaining it is really hard to find NPCs in the list. Often I include their title in the list, but if they are searching by name it can take them a while to find the NPC. That's all - keep up the great work.
So... I may be a bit slow and should have seen the title of this forum before posting the suggestion (rant) below in a semi-unrelated forum, but I have to emphatically agree with SensoryThought above.  I, as a GM, love the tagging feature!  The problem however is that the character bar isn't just a mess for me, it is also a mess for my confused players.  Finding that one guy who sold them that potion one time from that old city they once stayed in for my players has slowed game progression way down and had me breaking the 4th wall the whole game reminding them who they know, where they have been, etc... I can see issues with GMs who use the tagging function and want to keep it a secret to avoid player discoveries (ex. Jake is in the super secret "assassin" guild)... but since I, as a GM, spend WAY more time with my campaign than my players do, I tend to remember better than they do who Sebastian the Assassin is and why he is sneaking up on the Paladin. I would say that 90% of the time the real issues with the character tab clutter is a player not knowing who did what and where they lived.  Unless I am holding their hands my players often end up saying something like, "Oh!  Don't we know someone from that church/guild/town/bathouse/death cult/swing dance club?  Let's get his/her/its help!  BUT WAIT, I can't seem to find him listed under the S's for Shady Merchant Douche bag?  Oh, his name is Tanis Tartin O'hulahan... ? Come on GM, just name hims Shady Merchant Douche bag!"...  So my vote is for a more advanced search and tag function that could possibly help GM's tag some things secretly while also letting the players access the search and tag functions as well.
