I think it would be a great way to publicize the site, and draw players in. Get Gm's to run short one-shots for lots of different games over a whole weekend, with pre-made characters. Just like a con day.

There is an annual "RPG Day" around the world, and on that day, a lot of people offer games on Roll20 and some people broadcast their games on Twitch or Google or YouTube.
