Campaign Wish List

Exactly as the title suggests, post your campaign wish list here. 1. Paleolithic caveman campaign: 3.5/Pathfinder with class restrictions 2. Zombie Apocalypse: D20 Modern with revised health rules. 3. Mystery (Set 1800's or before): Any rule-set. No magic. 4. Goblin Campaign: Pathfinder 5. Evil Campaign: Any rule set.
Miles, also look at the Insanity Rules from d20 Call of Cthulu for the Zombie Apocalypse. Adds some great intensity.
Thanks for the suggestion Tommy, I'll look into it.
Are you talking to run, or to play in?
My wish list would include rather specific things lol 1. Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 2nd Edition 2. Iron Kingdoms Roleplay (Either 3.5 as written or a Pathfinder Conversion) 3. Dark Sun Pathfinder conversion 4. Paranoia 5. A fantasy WW2 game focusing on Fighter Pilots (Maybe using Wierd Wars 2 with some tweaking) Like I said very specific things.
@Miles, I would love to see your revised health rules. Mind PMing them to me?
If you're looking to run one of these I would be willing to join in as a player. I dont have a lot of experience but I know the basics of the systems. Depends on times though as I am in Australia.
This is coming from a beginner, so feel free to DM for someone who won't hold you to too high a standard. 1) Savage Worlds (any setting as it isn't too pulpy, fantasy would be nice) 2) Any OpenQuest campaign, fantasy would be nice 3) Call of Cthulhu (anything) 4) any Legend (Mongoose) campaign 5) A prehistoric man campaign that aims for realism (I fucking love reading about early man). I've tried D&D 4e and hated it (too complicated, too many options, combat too slow, I dislike the emphasis on classes), and I've attempted to run 2 sessions of OpenQuest for my friends (who had never played an RPG either). I really want to get my feet wet playing.
1.)evil game? I've been wanting to run an evil game for a long time. (except maybe in and maybe not in DnD rules) Players pick a classic monster or a classic DnD monster and go at it. Fighting the forces of good. 2.)Second on my list would be a superheros cosmic level game (Cosmic meaning in space like silver surf, not epic level game) 3.)Transformers RPG and I'm sure there's one or two more. but those are my current most wanted.
This wish lists posted could be to run and/or play.
@Miles: If you like I could run a pathfinder game tonight (one-shot, but see if it sticks) where you play evil goblin cavemen fighting off the hordes of a great necromancer while searching for some gidjet that can keep the newly generated world from deteriorating back into nothingness while the gods and titans are too busy fighting over it to hold it together. you have no idea just how bored I am and want to do something more intellectually stimulating than writing papers.
Guess I will throw out a few that I have been interested in playing or running. 1. Black Market Players in a Jude Dredd/ Blade Runner World 2. Dystopia World where you are being repressed and have to fight back 3. Zombie Game at the beginning of the Apocolypse 4. Star Wars game during the OT times 5. Ravenloft style Pathfinder game 6. Super Heroes game similar to the comic book "The Boyz" where the super heroes are out of control 7. 20th Edition Anniversary Vampire game related to the events that came after the Bloodlines video game 8. Lastly, an X-Files style Modern game using d20 cthulhu insanity rules as you uncover stranger things, while the government tries to hide it from the public I need help getting a really good Mutants and Mastermind campaign going. Would love to hear some ideas.
8. Lastly, an X-Files style Modern game using d20 cthulhu insanity rules as you uncover stranger things, while the government tries to hide it from the public They have it it's called Delta Green look it up it is EXACTLY that some people claim it ripped off x-files even though it came out a year or so before it uses CoC 5th edition as a base
I stick with d20 and white wolf systems ...... just something I prefer, but thank you none the less for the recommendation.
Run - Castle Falkenstein: I hear it is in the process of a new edition. I am hopeful. My own Pathfinder homebrew world. Still developing, but close. Either Changeling. Ars Magica fifth. A couple different tribunals. Deliria, once Phil Brucato gets the new edition rules debugged. I always can run 7th Sea. Play- Pathfinder. I love the idea of the Gnome Alchemist 7th Sea. I want to PLAY for once. The Laundry RPG - C'thulu and MI-5 done comically; what's not to like? Paranoia. Kinda like the Laundry, if you think about it!
@Jeremy Duncan - While I believe Delta Green is out of print, there is also a current CoC version of Charles Stross' "The Laundry" which is very similar.
