Hidden Settings Box

Whilst trying to get voice chat to work with my players we had to switch to using the flash plugin. It works great for my players but it doesn't work for me. I have discovered that a hidden box appears when I press the settings gear on my portrait, but I can't figure out how to make it become visible.
I'm sorry you're having trouble with the site. Please view and follow all of the instructions on the Audio Visual Troubleshooting wiki page, it should help you. Most of the guide is geared towards working with the WebRTC plugin, but some should be applicable to the flash plugin as well. If the wiki does not solve your problem, head back over to this thread and let us know any additional details to help us further figure out your issue. I will also move this thread over to the Bug Reports and Technical Issues forum.

The troubleshooting didn't help. My mic works fine with WebRTC, but then my players can't seem to get their mics to connect to the app. I've turned them towards the Troubleshooting guide, but that's no guarantee since I think some of them have tried it before. As for me and flash: The plugin activates and my avatar is switched for the default shadowed outline. I am able to hear the other players. The other players can't hear me, and I get no green bar confirmation of the volume. When I try to press the settings/tool button on my avatar nothing happens, but I notice that a rectangular area in the upper middle of the gaming-board-screen is inaccessible to me, as if there's an invisible item there. Don't know what else there is to say. The troubleshoot told me to try the TokBox diagnostic, and all tests were successful.
Just to check: do you have this issue with all browsers?
I have been using Chrome up to this point. Explorer doesn't run the site properly, but that's fine. *snark snark* Firefox has the Settings popup appear, but apparently pressing the "allow" button for Adobe doesn't work. The fault seem to lie with the flash plugin, not the implementation.

Chrome If I am quick enough when I boot up the campaign for the first time I am able to press the adobe allow button, but the rest of the settings window disappears as usual as soon as the table has loaded. The window briefly appear if I change table page.

It's possible that the Privacy settings for Flash are restricting it from accessing your mic and camera. It seems like there are no privacy settings for accessing speakers with Flash, so that generally always works. Try looking at your flash privacy settings here: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en... This accesses your local settings and changes them, even though it's on macromedia's site. I'm no expert on flash, but you should be able to adjust opentok.com 's settings to always allow. Here is how I have it set:
The macromedia link worked nicely. Though I still can't access the settings panel properly. It flashes briefly when I switch tables, but not for long enough to have a close look at it. I have been able to manipulate it so that my players can hear my speakers, which is nice, sort of.

Something relevant to this discussion: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1475531/flash-based-video-and-voice-chat-support-will-be-ending-early-this-week/#post-1475531 What issues were you having that caused you to switch away from WebRTC?
At least one of my players had issues getting it to work. I'll have them all run through the troubleshoots and look for support themselves. Thanks a bunch for the help, though! :D
