nWod Health Boxes

So I have just signed up to roll20.net and was testing it out. As i was making a character for nWod I came on a problem im not sure how to solve. How does one represent health boxes? I can't seem to find a nice way the only solution that i can come up with is to have a table in the Bio&Info section which is not the nicest solution (but a solution none the less). Was wondering if somebody has a nicer way of representing them.

Is it important that they are boxes? I havent played nWod so corect me if I'm wrong but surly you can represent them as numbers.
Each box can contain different type of damage bashing represented as '/' lethal as 'X' and aggravated as '*'. There is also an overflow when say you fill up with bashing and then get more bashing it transitions some of the health boxes into lethal damage and so on. A quick example: So say you character has 5 health boxes and is unfortunate enough to get seriously hurt from a blunt weapon and takes 4 bashing. On pen and paper one would write this. [/][/][/][/][ ] Say you take another 3 bashing after this you would then have [X][X][/][/][/]. If you reach [*][*][*][*][*] you would be dead. That is why I dont think a number system would work so well. I hope that it makes sense.

Is there a situation where you may take X damage and it replaces / damage? Example: you have [/][/][ ][ ][ ] and then take 3 damage that counts as X will it simply replace / like this?: [X][X][X][ ][ ] - Gauss
No it would be [X][X][X][/][/] least severe is pushed to the right. And say you would now take  1* then you would have [*][X][X][X][X]. All damage you take that overflows to the right upgrades the least severe damage starting from the left to the next damage type. I hope thats clear. It might be that this will have to be in the bio&info section then.
something like [_]-0, [_][_]-1, [_][_][_][_]-2, [_]INC, [_]??? would be too hard to make each player copy and paste eh?
More like this but yes this is what i have at the moment.             -1 -2 -3 I was hoping somebody came up with maybe a nicer solution especially when tracking multiple NPC's damage etc.

You could do this in three different bars. Bar 1 is /, Bar 2 is X, and Bar 3 is * Assuming you have 5 boxes: If you have 3 [/] and take 3 [X] you would mark Bar 2's value as 3 and reduce Bar1 by 1 (assuming I understand the mechanic) - Gauss
Hmm. Will try that out thanks for the suggestion.
If you have five boxes... you essentially have 20 health. Wouldn't it be just as easy to track it that way?
I thought about that but bashing is quicker to heal then say lethal wounds so knowing what types one has is necessary. So i thought if one gives bashing a value of 1 lethal 2 and aggravated 3 that might work but the problem them becomes say you get 2 aggravated damage that would be 6. If you have 5 health boxes one would then think one would start receiving a penalty. But one would not as only the first two boxes are filled. From what it seems a table in the bio is probably the best way to go about it at the moment.
Oh, you can put multiple digits in the bubbles... Bob has 5 boxes. Bob takes 4 bashing damage. In his health bubble, he enters 4000 (4 bashing, 0 lethal, 0 aggravated, 0 overflow). Bob takes 3 lethal damage. In his health bubble, he enters 1300 (1 bashing, 3 lethal, 0 aggravated, 0 overflow).
Oh thats a really good idea will try it. Thanks!
