Currently if a campaign does not have the external journal feature available it suggests to the use that they should become a supporter to enable it. This can be misleading to new members of the community that do not know that it has no effect unless they are the creator of the campaign. The message should be rewritten to reflect this more fully and accurately. A new member may feel cheated if they sign up as a supporter and don't recieve the promised benefit and it could be considered false advertising. Thanks for out at my suggestion.
