Cards played from Deck and from Hand are different sizes

I am only just beginning to dive into this wonderful program of yours, looking at making a deckbuilder-type game (though unfortunately there are severe limitations currently-cant seem to play a card from deck A into deck B without the GM manually editing the deck and adding a new card), but along the way I have noticed that cards played from the deck onto the table are wider/out of scale when compared with cards played from the hand.

Andrew, that's not the behavior I'm seeing. Can you provide a screen cap?
The cards themselves are a somewhat embarrassing mockup as I was just trying to feel out some ideas. But you can see the sizes are different.
And just so that we're on the same page, I see there is an option to set the size of cards, but if it is blank it will auto size them. I have left it blank.

Is this only happening with your custom deck or does it happen with the 52 card deck that comes default in campaigns?

Great question. I checked and it is not happening with the default deck. Also, I believe my card images were set to the 'bridge' size of playing cards, which is slightly thinner than 'poker' cards, so the image is in fact thinner. However, now i suppose the question is why are cards not normalized when played from the hand vs when played from the deck? both the same, either thinner or wider EDIT: looks like i found it. the card backs I was using was wider than the card fronts (poker vs bridge pretty much). Having the same front/back size fixes the problem. I suppose something useful out of this is learning that cards played from the hand use the front image size, while cards played from the deck use the back image side.

That's interesting and I'll look into it. Either way I'm glad your issue is resolved. Either way you're always going to run into issues if your card back and front aren't the same size. Any time you flip the card they'll be off.
