So I am GMing an Fate Core game on Saturdays, and was doing some set up tonight when I noticed the sheets changed drastically. It seems the standard Fate Core sheet has been replaced with the Freeport Edition. Didn't really care until It dawned on me that there's no skill list in the Freeport Edition: All PC and NPC sheets have had their skill lists wiped out. I'm only glad I kept my major NPCs on myth-weavers (I can only imagine the problem this will be with a Tuesday FC game I play in with another group which has a HUGE list of characters and mecha) After checking the sheet list it appears there's a Fate Freeport, and Fate Accelerated Sheet, but no Core sheet. Is the Core sheet gone? Can we expect a return of some form of the Fate sheet that uses Skills instead of Approaches? (A Merging of the FAE/Core sheets might be more efficient thinking about it, having both Skill Pyramid AND approaches, depending on what's used) The Disruption of active games aside, it seems odd to have completely removed the game's base sheet template. Credit where Credit is do, the Freeport sheet is VERY well done, but was there perhaps some sort of mistake in replacing the standard Core sheet with it?
