Original Map Size?

Hello All! I am relatively new to Roll20, so please forgive me if the question I rise has already been asked and answer before. I'm having a problem with using background maps with my campaigns. I have added several map backgrounds from the marketplace to my image library, yet when I try to add them to my campaign they only take up the space of a single square. I know I can then use the various tools to resize the map, but what if I want to use it in its original size format so it will look the best? I feel like the only way to do this is to know the original map size beforehand, which not all maps on the marketplace have listed. Currently if I import one of these maps from my computer it will upload it in its original size format, yet this defeats the purpose of using the assets library for tags so I can quick-find the maps I need. How have you solved/dealt with this problem? Thanks!
You'll want to make sure that you're on the Map Layer when you drop a background image down. The Token Layer auto-resizes everything you drop to fit in the grid.
You can also specify the pixel dimensions of an object by right clicking, choosing " Advanced " and using "Set Dimensions." If you know the dimensions of your file, you can set it exactly the right size. There's also the option to set the dimensions using "units" which can let you tell Roll20 how many squares you want the object to take up.
