Looking for a GM who wants to run a one man show

Pathfinder. I am looking to create a real story together. I have a character concept I want to play, but he isn't going to easily fit in a regular party. Should be able to add others as the story develops. Timing is also relevant. I need to play early CST on Thursday or Saturday. Message me if this interests you.
Guessing this is no one?
Normally if its not my game i wont post but couldnt avoid it this time. Dont let that douchebag get you down, i've seen gm's posting for single players it might take you some time but youll get a hit.
Instead of going off on you, I would suggest you find a DM who enjoy stories around the characters. I run my games with both a overall arching story each character can participate in and then individualized personal sub stories that invoke a deeper belonging to the world. If you don't like my idea, maybe a friend could hook you up with that. Edit: I'm not saying join my game. I already have enough players. I'm trying to say there are people out there like me who enjoy personalization when it comes the games. I'm sorry if I confused you.
Goto agree with some of the guys here. I have done single DMing before. It can be a bit of fun. I you are truly interested in solo experiences I suggest having a look at mythic emulator. Its designed to have no DM for rpgs.
What I'm looking for is the chance to create a STORY with someone who enjoys STORIES. Because of the character concept, it means 1 on 1, at least for the early going. If YOU aren't interested, just don't post. No need to be a douche. If you ARE interested, feel free to shoot me a PM.
here is the thing kirby. you have every right to play the game you want to play. and there is probably someone out there or several someones who want to play that game too. but the reason you are using jarrs at me, because i think it's wrong. i can't conceive of a concept, any concept, that the experience of play wouldn't be improved by the addition of at least one more character. Even tom hanks had wilson. Character Dialogue (the ability to externalize the internal monologue) is usually important.
Here is a concept it would have been very difficult to REALLY play early on with others. Drizzt Do'urden. You either have antagonistic PC's who likely kill each other off, limiting the story, or possibly Zakneifen as a 2nd PC? I am not interested in selfishly hogging the spotlight. But in order to play the concept fully and allow the character to grow, I believe it is necessary to play it as a 1 on 1 for a time before bringing in others.

I am intrigued, but would need a little more to go on. Anyway you could flesh out your character concept for me? If it's interesting enough to build a campaign around I would certainly be interested in running it.
Sent you a PM. Thanks for responding Aaron.

@ Geshlar @ Kalman S. The Roll20 lead developer Riley specifically asked for us NOT to post disagreeing with someone's game ideas on Looking For Group forum specifically. See The Roll20 Code of Conduct -- the guideline is exactly what Kirby V said --- if you aren't responding to play in the game, don't post in the thread please. LFG is not supposed to be a debate about what kind of gaming is right or conceivable. It's Kirby's thread to ask for people who want to play what he wants. Kirby V. said: If YOU aren't interested, just don't post. No need to be a douche. If you ARE interested, feel free to shoot me a PM.
i'm very specifically not "disagreeing with his game idea". i'm disagreeing with the argument he chose to use to defend it. i said very plainly that his game idea is just and right and i hope he gets it. i ran a solo adventure for my wife which was a wonderful game, it allowed me to give a spotlight to a player who isn't used to it. i ran a solo adventure for my friend once, which allowed me to explore a virtual reality environment in a way that purposefully confused the player, where i felt multiple players would get bored too quickly. there are tons of reasons for it. i fully support it, and i don't appreciate being publicly called out for doing something, especially when you don't have a firm grasp on the situation. what i saw happening in Kirby's response to mine, was an actual discussion of his idea. a rebuttal to the point i made. an explanation. an example of a story he might want to replicate. Useful, beautiful information that might lead to a whole discussion on the nature of games, or more likely just help us all better help him find what he wants. of course three post down from that was a load of hypocrisy, so i guess quality fluctuates.
Kirby, please do elaborate on what you want. or is there a reason you are keeping it private?
I always thought it would be fun to have a singleplayer game as a Bugbear rogue, and be a serial killer. Haha

Geshlar said: You should kinda expect little interest. Why would a DM want to craft a story specifically for a single player. DMing takes a lot of prep, and its not worth the risk when you are doing it for a single person who in all likeliness will either no show, or be a flake. At least when you DM for a group if a player or two drops its easier to add more. It is also pretty selfish to want a DM to make a game just for you when the Player to GM ratio is so high. Why would a DM like myself spend all that time and effort for just a single person when we could share it with 5 or 6 people. I might be interested, I've only played pathfinder once or twice, however I'm pretty knowledgeable about dnd 4e.
