Adding an strange glow to a room with dynamic lighting?

In the adventure I am running, the party has dropped down a pit, into a small pool of water.  The room is roughly 15 feet in diameter, and per the module the walls emit a soft glowing light that is enough to see inside the room.  How would I generate that light?  Is there a way to use a token, but hide the token from the party and just have it show the light?
Yes. Make a token, add the light to it, and then move it to the GM Info layer I think. Either that or you can make a transparent 70x70 token and put it on the map layer.
Ok, maybe there was an issue because I was logged in as the GM, but when I moved the token to the GM layer the light disappeared.  While try again. Edit: I moved the token to the map layer, and then did send to back to put it behind the map, and now it is working! Thanks HoneyBadger.
I'd just use a transparent token and put it on the map layer. Maybe give it a dot to show where it is.

Light sources set to All Players work on the Map, Token, and Dynamic Lighting layers. They do not work on the GM Layer. Light sources set to specific players work on the Token layer only.  - Gauss
Now that I have that working, I don't suppose there is a way to add a color hue to the light?

Justin, afraid not. You could use a transparency to tint things a certain color.  - Gauss
