Date: 4th - 5th Richfest, 609 CY Attendance: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Recap: After the townsfolk are ushered into their homes, they lock their doors and draw their curtains. The celebrations are abruptly cut short as Mayor Milner looks over the dead hag's body. Gick Ujo then approaches, and the smoothed stone he carries seems to laugh and then speak. It tells of a traitor to the east of "Valena's Tomb," which Clifton remembers as being the large tree wherein the Beast of Marlgrove was killed. They decide to seek the traitor the following morning, since the 4th is Midsummer Night; a time when bad things tend to happen, and when lycanthropes have no control over their transformations. Clifton decides to shop at Kamlo's Emporium to stock up for the following morning. After some banter and some intimidation by Wulrakas and Thruskk, Thruskk purchases a unique healing potion with unknown properties and Clifton buys a whistle. He also tries to trick Kamlo with prestidigitation, but Kamlo is wise to it. The group then leaves the shop and mulls around for the remainder of the day. They turn in early that night, and Thruskk uses Jericho's "Sleep With My Back Against the Door" technique. Unfortunately, he fails to realize that no thruskk, you are the monsters he's been carrying the lycanthrope curse after being gored by the Wereboar at Neldea. He transforms into a Wereboar himself, terrorizing both Clifton and Wulrakas and destroying the room. Clifton manages to to subdue him using an illusion. The occupants of the Inn rush upstairs, and Krax puts Thruskk to sleep using magic. They then secure Thruskk-Boar with large, heavy chains which he's unable to break.
