Looking for a game

Hello all, I'm new to roll20 but not to RPGs. I've recently found roll20 and thought this might be the way to find a gaming group. I'm 38 years old and in the military, hence the difficulties finding gaming groups when we have to move etc. I generally have evenings after 6pm Texas time available and weekends are open all times. I have experience with d&d 2e and 3.5. Played a few games of sword and sorcery which was a pretty fun system. Anyhow, if you would like a newish player give me a shout or pm. so to possibly clear: looking to play d&d 3.5, other editions if don't mind me learning, any fantasy genre game if you don't mind new player learning available most days but weekends better with a flexible schedule, would like 1-2 sessions per week would like to join a campaign but am open to one shot games willing to get required communication software, Skype, Google hangouts etc if possible would like to find a forgotten realms campaign as this is one of my favorite settings
Hey! I'm trying to get a group together to play d&d 5e in the next couple of hours if you are interested. It will probably be a one-shot unless we all seem to enjoy ourselves. I'm new to 5e and DMing so if you're ok with learning together let me know =]
If within a few hours I could definitely game with Ya, won't have voice capabilities here because I had to travel and am at my parents unless I worked some wonky way to play on the laptop and Skype via phone
Oh does your laptop not have a microphone? Roll20 has a built in voice chat system.
No, older laptop no integrated mic

The problem I've experienced is the bandwidth on a phone data plan. I experience the same when I hotspot my laptop to my phone. The upspeed and downspeed is usually not enough to handle voice over skype (I have not tried the built in voice due to limited monthly allotment of the data plan).
Ah I see. Well I personally don't mind if you just type, but if you'd prefer chat maybe you can join one of the later test runs I'll be trying next week?
either works for me, could possibly watch the session if you get one goin tonight and play at the next, or if everyone dont mind the typing then hop in,
