Floating Names attached to Tokens

Description: Allowing tokens to float their attached "name" field above them when selected by players and GMs. Usecase: When in large combat or RP on a map, it is difficult for players and GM's to signify what "token" they're attacking or targeting their RP towards. Having the ability to have the Token's name floating above the token on selection would make this much easier on flow.
Not to detract from your idea, but your players have the same ping ability that you do as a GM. You could use that as an alternative until something like this gets implemented.
Completely agree Colton as that's what we've been doing as a workaround.
Just make sure you are all on the same magnification :) I think the name idea has a lot of merit though.
I like the idea of a mouse-over or permanent toggleable floating name tag for sure. I prefer mine to be mouse-over, but permanent as an option box you could check would be cool too.
Hydra's Idea is perfect, mouse over with permanent option.
Yeah I thought of this a few times while hosting and would love to see this, +1 for Hydra's idea.
Another +1
This has been a request since early on; I'm sure it's somewhere on the list. But count me as another +1!
Agreed. It would be nice to hover over an icon to see it.
I thought I'd say a huge thank you to the Dev team who implemented Nameplates a few weeks back. Awesome addition!
I created arrows and target tokens for my players to use. Works better than the ping.
