Good luck working out the exchange rate though. I believe there are options for pre-paid cards that might work for you Jan, what country are you in? (this can affect your options)
In previous threads asking this, other users from some European countries reported they could go into a shop and buy a Pre-Paid Card, which then works quite like a credit card account number.
