Duplicate Page questions!

Hello R20 , name is Airatome and I have this insanely massive fantasy world I've been writing for many years and, now that I've found R20; it's time to start building that world for all of you to adventure in! I made a singular map where I could drop all my tokens and grid tiles on and then I arranged in them in particular order so I could build maps/dungeons with them. A 'build page' if you would. On attempting to clone/Duplicate the page as it showed me in the nifty intro video I watched when I first joined......I moved over to find I had duplicated....an empty map. O.o why is it empty? A duplicate should, in essence of it's very name....duplicate EVERYTHING, yes? Or am I missing something? Duplication seems to always lead to just a blank page with absolutely nothing on it. Kind of the same as "New Page" ....it would be redundant....so what am I doing wrong? Must be something lol

You're right, the terminology "duplicate page" is confusing there. The behavior is actually what's intended. That's what it does, currently. It creates a duplicate of the blank page (the page with it's size and settings). It doesn't copy the contents of the page like maps and tokens. You can copy-paste the map and tokens, though. Just highlight your graphics, and hit Control-C (copy). Go to the other page and hit Control-V (paste). Should work, I believe. You may need to remember to go layer-by-layer if you used the underlying Map layer, Token layer, and GM layer. There is a Suggestion on the Suggestions & Ideas forum for changing this, either changing the label (something like "Copy Page Settings"), or changing the behavior to actually copy the whole page like you want, or giving the option.
