help with dice

im playing 4th edition D&D and one thing i haven't been able to figure out or find, is commands to adjust the results of dice rolls there are plenty of items and feats that affect roll results that i dont know how to duplicate. i.e. making an athletics check (1d20+skill) but treating rolls of 2-7 as if i rolled an 8. also things affecting damage, like brutal weapons reroll all 1's. or certain things that when i roll a damage dice to treat a 1 or 2 as if i rolled a 3. im sure the brutal is easy to handle, just reroll 1's, and i bet theres a command for that. but say a damage is /r 1d8+5, i dont know how to treat a die result of 1 or 2 as a 3, other than just doing it in my head

Rolls of 1d20+5 with 2-7 being treated as 8: not possible with current tools Rolls of 1d8+5 with 1s and 2s being treated as 3s: not possible with current tools.  Rerolling 1's: /r {1d20r1+skill} (note: a second 1 will also be rerolled) - Gauss
cool :) so for a 4e D&D execution axe, that is brutal 2 (reroll til result is higher than a 2) it would be /r {1d12r2+damage}? (just clarifying) as for the others, where you substitute results: if possible, have you considered being able to click on the dice shown in the chat window and replace the result? as example, an assassin's garotte attack: /r {2d4+damage} , result: /1\ /2\ + damage = ##, then being able to click on the 1 and the 2 and changing them to 3's? (im sure its nowhere near as simple as my mind is making it)

You are correct with your brutal 2 line.  As for what I have considered, I am not a Dev, I am only a Mod here to help people use the tools we have. You should post what your idea regarding dice substitution in the suggestion forum. - Gauss

API Scripter
There is someone working on 4e scripts in the API forum I noticed.  I don't play 4e so I didn't have a look.  He might be doing this kind of stuff through the scripts?
oh well i don't know how to mess with the scripts, and it was as a player not GM
