Ability to selectively scrub chat record, or maybe "go off the record"

I'd love a way to test macros with chat output yet somehow not have that chat output saved for all to see next time they log on. This would be particularly helpful for GMs who want to test macros on new NPC sheets but don't want the players to know exactly which monsters their GM coded in the night before, but could also be helpful for players who want a little privacy while getting their macros right. (I know one work-around is to create the macros in a dummy campaign and then "transmogrify" them across, but this requires a lot more forethought than I keep around.)
there is a feature on dev currently that lets you do this. the command is Talktomyself and it shuts off chat logging for most things in the campaign. I believe it is intended to go live on production with the update of holding, but I could be wrong, and we dont have an actual date for that yet..
Well that is just perfect. It even has a little "talking to yourself" flag on the chat window to remind me so I don't think my players are just ignoring me. Just one more reason to look forward to when this Update of Holding goes into effect. I guess I will vote this suggestion back to nothingness.
