During the adventure the group defeated the following: 1x Whale (xp already given out) 200x Pirates (25 or so surrendered and were pressed into service aboard the ships, however they are chaotic...) 4x Evil Priests 1x High Priest 15x Soldiers (all surrendered without battle, and were taken to Stilt Town and ordered to leave the Lanthos Sea.) 1x Troll (who was put at ease by Thea, thinking everything was normal) 1x Chimera and the group obtained the following: 640 gold pieces 56x gems worth 40,750 gold 23x pieces of jewelry worth 56,000 gold 1x Unidentified Magic Wand 1x Cursed Cleric Scroll which was used up when read 1x Potion of Flying 1x +2 Mace (which should have been a sword but I mistook neutral swords for being disallowed when the rule is actually no neutral swords with intelligence) 1x Small Warship Class Karve 1x Large Warship Class Roundship In addition the group obtained 72,990 gold from the sale of the whale to the people of Stilt Town, the amount for which will be split among everyone who participated this session (unless I hear protest). Also the unidentified wand found in the Vampire Queen statue. Also Curtis did cast remove curse upon Ondraedon the next morning after returning to Stilt Town.
Holy hell, nice haul guys, I look forward to the write up.
No maps on the ships we found? Can our spell slingers fly out to the third ship and search it the next day (using invisibility and I would cast silence on them if they wanted)? Since the king won't see us, what are we going to do with the kids/prisoners? Last time we rescued kids I turned them in at my temple and received some additional xp for it. So if anyone else has any clubs/organizations they want to do that through to try to build credit they should do that. Otherwise we can go through the temple again. Stupid cursed scroll turned me into a ladybug! Thanks for the restoration Curtis! Violet finally got to put that sword to use and it was overkill on those first two guys. She showed great restraint in letting us take the main priest alive as a prisoner!
The ship that burned in the bay was properly on fire, I assumed it'd burn to the water line by morning. Also neither of the other ships had anything valuable on board so I doubt that one did either. Considering how much you're tithing to your church, I'm sure they can take on a few children and try to work out of their parents are still alive. The adult that was in chains could just get 10 gold and pointed to a boat to Stygia. Also yes, Violet really tore up evil clerics, it was pretty great to watch.

Last night was awesome. Our army of wizards and clerics cleared the way for the fighters to go in and clean out the riff-raff. Thieves snuck, scouted and picked locks. No casualties on our side. Big bag-o-loot and ships. Steve embraced technology.

Sounds like another great adventure after I left! Are we keeping the smaller ship? I know the big one will replace the eel but the small one might come in handy too. Can we handle the small one on our own or does it take special skill also like the larger ones do?
I'm thinking it may be worthwhile to do as discussed last night and lease the second ship, though not to the navy, but to a trading company. We only really need one ship, and the second could be a source of income or reduction in overhead for the party's business in the area. Also, we really need better names for the ships if we keep em.

That is a good idea john. We should hold a vote for the names.

I do like that idea, although leasing to Strongmoor might help us in other ways (audience with the King, increased social standing, etc).
Speaking of social standing, we need to the GM to tell the story of what happens to the EHP when we hand him over to the autorities in Strongmoor.
You're right, I did miss the wand, I'll add that. Who wants to do a write up? I'm stupid amounts of out of it from only getting like 3-4 hours sleep last night. Also, yeah better names for the ships would be in order. For some reason, the second ship, I kind of feel like following it's previous name, The Wailing Banshee might not be so bad. Whichever one we keep to use more often can be renamed like whatever the last one was called plus "the Second" or something. Leasing it to a trading company instead of the navy is probly a better idea, the navy would be much more likely to get it sunk, and it's great to have it around if we need a backup again.
> kids.... So if anyone else has any clubs/organizations Oh, Malifoi knows of an "organization" looking for young'uns... Those names are awesome, except anachronistic Satan. Should be Eldrath's or Chaal's or something in game. If they must be renamed he suggests, for the larger ship, "Malifoi's Member". Do we still have a priest of Pyaray in the house, or other chaotic god with secret temple in Strongmor? I have a charmed pirate who wants to participate in the next sacrifice er, I mean party the church holds. Also, it's time to dump a few 1000'gp hiring bards and criers to sing the praises of our heroic victory over the kingdom's vile enemies and rescuing all those poor children. How 12 stood against hundreds, how even foul multi-headed monstrosities and the High Priest of Evil Eldrath could not slow our righteous fight for justice. All hail Malifoi's Magnificient Multiple!
Yeah we really need the word to get out that the high priests guard just walked out on him instead of fighting us. Every hero needs a theme song right Malifoi!? I do not approve of that MMM name. I refuse to even repeat that trash! Plus I would think our cleric slayer would be more notorious right now.
Curtis is down for letting you guys take the credit, being notorious against undead cultists with large wealth and long reach doesn't suit him.
> I do not approve of that MMM name. Approval is not required, your obsequiousness will suffice. Ancient Eldrath proverb "He who hire bard, write the lyrics." :)

I give the Stygian adult 100G and a hug before she goes. As we embrace, I whisper "It's over" in her ear.

How much is the gold and XP from the whale divided up?
xp from the whale was already given out. Gold is shared among everyone in this session. There were 12 people to share with. The personal earned numbers are in the original post and bolded.

Right, I forgot about that.
Man, so all that work, plus all that gems/jewelry found and we still didn't come close to the money and xp earned on that special saturday session :(
James F. said: I give the Stygian adult 100G and a hug before she goes. As we embrace, I whisper "It's over" in her ear. It is a he. And here is what happens: After returning to town, you free the Stygian and realize that hunger and thirst have deprived him of much of his muscular bulk, but he appears to still possess a trace of his former strength. His skin is a dusky red color, and his hair is black, straight, and shoulder length. He speaks to you rapidly in a foreign dialect which you are unable to understand, and points to himself. "Tombalku," he says. He repeats it again, and beats his fist against his chest. From somewhere he produces a dagger which he offers to Lorielle while kneeling. Assuming that Lorielle takes up the dagger, Tombalku follows her around unceasingly despite any protests, only providing enough privacy for her to change clothing on occasion. Tombalku always sleeps within a few feet of the character and refuses to let Lorielle go adventuring without him. After a week or so of recovery, Tombalku looks to be much stronger and early in the morning Lorielle catches him practicing with sword and spear a strange ritualistic combat form. Lorielle now has a fiercely loyal companion which she must bring with her on each adventure (and is allowed to even when party limits are exceeded). Tombalku is a Stygian Tribesman, and considered a level 2 fighting-man that can progress with further xp. He earns a share of James xp, and refuses all loot. He must always stand next to Lorielle in the marching order. He is not allowed to wear armor (he absolutely refuses), but otherwise has all the normal Fighting-man abilities. A character sheet should be created by James to reflect the following stats: Name: Tombalku Level: 2 Class: Fighting-man Race: Human Alignment: Lawful HP (1d6+1 per level): 14 AC: 7 Strength: 18 +2 Intelligence: 6 -1 (can't write, can only learn to read simple words, has trouble learning to speak common) Wisdom: 8 +0 Dexterity: 18 +2 Constitution: 11 +0 Charisma: 7 +0 Saving Throw: 14 +1 vs Death +1 vs Poison
I made my action thinking it was a woman, but I can roll with this. I give 1/2 my xp share to Tombalku?
Changed it. Just give him any portion of your xp. He starts with 2,000xp. He is the only companion you are allowed to have at this point.
Great another mouth to feed! James after this session I can try to use Tongues at least once a day to help you communicate with Tombalku (I'm pretty much maxed out on spells this week and was in Strongmoor). Maybe just enough to get his story and see if he has any information that may be helpful to us/him.
I only know 2 languages, and have +1 int. How long might it take to learn Stygian? Looks like I'll either be a mirror image popping stabbity-mage, or this guy is getting real familiar with a longbow and naginata.
