Hi. I'm pretty green when it comes to tabletop and Roll20, but I'm looking for a group to play just about any game on Friday or Sunday nights. I would prefer the latest versions of D&D (4 or 5), but I'm open to just about anything if you're willing to work with me to learn the ropes of any D20/dice system. Details: I'm in my early 30's and understand the basic aspects of role playing. I did a lot of text-based role playing beginning in high school and through out college. I have managed to play a couple of sessions of D&D 4, but the games broke up due to issues beyond my control and my DM (my brother) moved on to games with more experienced players. I've went through character creation sessions twice and have a basic grasp of it, but I'm still not 100% on it. I can get access to just about any book that I may need to read if I'm given enough time. I'm in the US (CST), but I'm a night shift worker and am willing to be
up for just about any time on the weekend (means I'm not ruling out
European-based games either). I specify Friday or Sunday nights, because my husband raids on WoW on Saturday nights and I'd prefer to not take that
away from him. If you're wanting to play early Saturday, that would be something I could be available for as well. I want to play a Dragonborn Paladin and I've rolled that twice, but have yet to be able to play it in more than one session. I have ideas for her in my head already and being able to play her out would be nice. I'm willing to put together a new character if needed so it's not necessarily a problem if I can't. I'm still exploring options for voice communication. I don't have a reliable mic at the moment, but I have an Xbox One with Skype/Kinect so, at the bare minimum, I have that. As I get more involved, I'll be able to scope out what I'll need to play more often. Above all else, I just want to learn and play. That's it.
