LF Group (New Player with General Knowledge)

I am a new player that is looking for a relaxed first DnD gaming experience. Really a with a DM that is impartial to what going on not trying to kill the player. Although I have never played before I have been watching a Series on Youtube called Rollplay and get the general rules on the game and how not to meta game and how to really get into your character. Apart from that I was a huge fan on the Baldur's Gate which used similar rules which should help with understanding.  I cant do straight up hardcore roleplay e.g. Talk in Ye Old English all the time but know how to stick to character. Just looking for something not to serious. Im from the UK with a good headset. Looking for a group during the Weekend or Friday. 

Yeah i saw the same series! i mean, im still watching it :) I would love to join your group! Maybe we can build our own group and find us a fitting DM? I live in Germany and can talk English pretty well (im skypeable btw.) I wouldn't mind playing during the week. Basiclly my whole week is free right now :)

That's awesome if theres a GM who be wanting to run a campain with a newbie group then post a reply and see if we can get something going.

Does that mean you are a GM that running a Horror version of DnD 3.5 and no but Im sure I can read the players hand book, Also my G/f would be interested in playing and she is completely new to this as well. 

I would play but i would pass on the character creation. Maybe if you had some links i would be able to create one :)
