names for purchased tokens?

When you're shopping the marketplace for tokens they all have helpful names, such as "orc fighter" and so forth. When I'm browsing my purchased items however these are no longer there. Is there any way to search within my purchases based on the name of those tokens? I've frankly purchased a lot of tokens and I try to check those first to help keep a consistent art style when adding new tokens.

Daniel, are you sure you have Search "Tokens" selected when searching for your marketplace purchases?
I'm on the Art Library tab and clicking the Your Art Library, then Your Purchases. Sometimes I don't know exactly what I'm looking for and having the names that showed up in the marketplace would be helpful here.

I understand now. That pages is only displaying your personalized tags. If you search from inside the roll20 app (while in a campaign), you should be able to find your purchases by their original tags.
I think what Daniel L. means is that it would be nice if when you search your library, the ones you purchased already have tags showing. So you know what their names are for later use.

I agree, OSC. I personally had this same difficulty and was held-back by it for a few months of playing before I finally understood what some people on the forum were saying about finding it in the sidebar by typing the word, yet not being able to see those words as Tags in your Library Your Purchases screen. Like there was a thread where Riley said "They are tagged by the names" and people responded ala-Daniel L, looking in the Library and not seeing the name tags. I ended up going back to the Marketplace, re-discovering the items I had bought, and looked at the names -- so that's my hint for this when you use the sidebar. From then on, I could go to my Roll20 sidebar in-game and type the names, and it comes up. Before going back to Marketplace to look, I wasn't able to figure out the names it used (example: I expected it to be called "circle" but it was, in fact, tagged "round" not "circle" in the marketplace). Sure I could've gone through my library and hand-tagged them all "circle" if I wanted to find them under that, but what I really wanted was just to find the right token that I'd bought by a tag that's already on it from the marketplace origins & not to re-tag everything. Now that I know to remember the names-seen in the Marketplace, it's easier to remember what to type in the sidebar search, and then the ones you've purchased come up near the top.
Yeah the main reason I think it would be helpful is as a reminder of the naming convention the artist used. Search for "archer" all you want but if it was "ranger" or "with bow" you'll never find it. By contrast if I'm browsing my purchase library and I see another icon with "ranger" I have another term to search for. Maybe I'm just not using it the way it was intended, but the name of the token is already in the system, it would seem pretty trivial to display it under the tokens on the Your Purchases tab in the Art Library.

I certainly see your point but since this isn't really a technical issue but a suggestion on tagging, I'd encourage you to post to the Suggestion and Ideas forum.
