Hey there guys. Name's Virgo. I posted a little while ago regarding the same topic, but I didn't get any responses. I figured it was time to sit down and try again. As the title suggests, I'm an avid 3.5 player. But for quite a while now I've been stuck DMing. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love it. But I just want to sit down and have a single character to connect with and play As a DM, I'm fair and tip things in the favor of the heroes because I like them to live. I like to give them plenty of downtime to buy things and roleplay and generally just be people. As a player I'm very much the same. I adore the roleplay above all else. That doesn't mean I'm bad at making an effective character, but coming up with characters and giving them motivations and back stories is just a passion for me, honed by years of being a DM. I enjoy games set up with an open-world which may or may not have a goal. My main fascination is with exploring and interacting with everything. I like time to pass and the world to change around us. Anyway, I'm available on weekends all day, and weekdays either early in the morning, or late at night. (Before 2pm PST and after 5:30 PM PST) I guess that's it. Hope you'll give me a chance.
